Welcome to the Wales Region home page.

As the name suggests, the Wales region covers the whole of Wales from Anglesey and the Great Orme in the north to Cardiff Bay in the South.

If you are new to Toppers and are thinking of joining the fun and friendly competition and training offered in Wales, then please email our Area Rep, Bethan Venning by email [email protected], who will try and answer any questions you have about Topper sailing in Wales. We are keen to encourage young sailors from all around the region – if you think that we can offer your sailor or club some assistance or if you have any ideas on how we can help build a fleet at your club we would be delighted to hear from you.

• help you understand and offer support so that you too can feel part of the Topper 'family'
• support you if you are new to the sailing circuit and taking part in Events or qualifying for a RYA CW Sailing Team place.
• keep you updated with news of events, coaching and results in our area.
• encourage Topper sailors, of all ages, to join in and have some fun!

We are a very friendly area with many families supporting each other both on and off the water. We have many parents that sail and we are keen to offer help if you are a “Non Sailing” parent so you can navigate their way around the boat and the events.  We are always keen to welcome new Welsh sailors to the racing events and coaching days.
