RYA Youth Nationals Update
The RYA Youth Nationals take place this year at WPNSA over the School Easter holidays, between the 12th and the 19th April. For the first time, 2 single handed junior classes have been added this year – Laser 4.7 and Topper.
Eligibility to sail a Topper at the Youth Nationals has been extended to include all members of the ITCA National 5.3 squad, as well as members of the RYA Topper UK Junior Girls Squad and RYA Topper UK Junior Boys Squad. Provided that sailors are current members of one of these squads, they can enter online via the RYA website by clicking here.
Transitioning sailors can if they prefer, enter in their new class. Full details of the supported classes and entry process can again be found on the relevant page on the RYA website
For all sailors, don't forget that you only have until Sunday 17th March to avoid having to pay a late entry fee.
In order to support and promote the #mydinghytribe theme for the 2019 RYA Dinghy Show which celebrates our dinghy sailing communities and the diversity in our sport , the International Topper National Girls Squad (the Squad Sisters) have been busy with face paint and created their own dinghy tribal decorations to take part in the Topper ‘quick fire’ photo competition.
