Volunteer needed to look after ITCA rib

Wednesday 19 April, 2017

ITCA is fortunate to own 3 ribs that are used for coaching and safety cover at Topper training and events around the UK. For this to work, the class relies on volunteer rib custodians, who transports the ribs to major events and squad training camps, and look after the ribs when they are not in use. In return for this, ITCA pay a mileage allowance, currently 35p per mile, for agreed journeys. The rib trailer can carry up to 2 toppers

Ideally we are looking for someone who:

  • Plans to attend all (or most) national series events
  • Has, or expects to have a sailor in one of the national Topper squads
  • Has space to securely store a rib on its trailer, either at home or perhaps at a local club
  • Has a PB2 certificate as it may be necessary to drive the ribs during launch and recovery

If you can tick some or all of these boxes, and would like to find out more, please get in touch using squads@itca-gbr.co.uk

If you are interested but don't want to make a long term commitment, please get in touch anyway as we need immediate help for this summers events.
